Been living nearby for 12 years and never tried it until now. Wow! It’s absolute quality pizza. The dough looks like it might be heavy but it is as light as a cloud, and easily the best dough I’ve ever had. The toppings are super fresh and high quality. Highly recommend!
Our only disappointment is that it took us so long to try! Probably our favourite pizza in the city. Flavours are so good, crust is so good, you can tell the high quality of ingredients.
Stumbling upon Zaccary’s randomly while driving and craving pizza. Ordering on the phone was easy and the pizza was ready about 30 minutes later. The owner was nice and greeted me when I came in. We had a little chat about our night and I learned the place has been opened for 33 years now. Pizza was delicious and the toppings were generous. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was light and flaky. Would come back again. Place is cash only!
Friend recommended to try this pizza place while I was in town. Called in to order take out and it took roughly 35 mins. Wanted to make sure I try a slice right away before the take out box makes it lose it's crisp. While having my slice, the owner and I had a quick chat about different types of food and cuisine. Really friendly. The pizza was excellent, good crisp on crust, very light and the cheese they use seemed a bit different but tasty.
Simply the best pizza I've ever had. As others have mentioned, the toppings and crust is on-point. Looking at what you get for the price it may not seem like much. Trust me, it hits the spot. It's gourmet pizza after all. As a first timer picking up the pizza from this shop, I requested sauce for the crust and the response was "we don't use that around here." I was caught off guard as I have always used sauce for my pizza crusts. I decided to give the benefit of the doubt. After getting to the crust, I couldn't have agreed more. This was the only pizza crust I've ever had that I could confidently say the crust is delicious down to the very last bite. The Greek salad was also one of the best I've had. A tad on the pricier side however, well worth the price paid. A hidden pizza gem in the Shaughnessy neighbourhood. BTW. This place accepts cash only.

We have been ordering from here for almost 3 decades and in my opinion Zaccary’s Pizza is one of the best if not the best”The” best pizza joint in Vancouver. The quality, taste and consistency is top notch. Leo himself is super friendly and kind and we hope he never retires.
